Do it Now to Defeat Procrastination

One thing we do at the Master Key Experience is to repeat ‘do it now’ 25 times twice a day out loud.

It is a simple thing to do. We learn that the subconscious mind, Subby, as we like to call it, has no defense against our voice, especially so if we say it with enthusiasm, that is combined with emotion, the more intense the emotion the better.

It is a new habit to implement in life that liberates us from stuck energy of procrastination, feeling guilt and/or not doing what we know we have to do.

In my experience, I have noticed that I have started doing things faster and catch myself doing things in the moment as if some new programming has taken over, which is the case. And it is a good programming that I have consciously chosen to take on.

I have shifted from waiting, procrastinating, finding excuses, thinking about possible negative outcomes and so on to just doing it the best I can.

This is instead of dealing with what is nonetheless out of my control, accepting the flow and thinking that things will go as they have to go and that can be better than what my worry mind may think.

Take an Inventory of the Messages You Send Yourself

Imagine if you should take an inventory of your thoughts, what you say and your self-talk every day, what would you glean from that? Do you like the outcome, that is, your life as it is right now?

I would encourage you to do the 7 day mental diet as I myself have done.

Probably, like most of us, you would notice that there is a lot of hidden negativity, lack consciousness, and so on.

For Different Results, Try Different Strategies

If you want to change the outcome of your life you have to become aware of your thoughts, of what you say to others and to yourself. Remember, Subby is listening! Not only listening but manifesting and making sure that what you say becomes your reality.

So, do it now, do it now, do it now!

    Great blog, and in a subject that affects us all. Aren’t we used to multi-tasking, both at home and on the work floor, in the office? And doesn’t that often lead to postponing the really important stuff, because we are too haywired to focus on that one important task? Procrastination is a monster that creeps into our lives as a small newborn, but quickly grows into adult shape, and before you know it dictates our agenda.
