Be Your Own Cheerleader
When you’re a Yellow, you shine—even when no one else shows up with the light.
It’s a beautiful thing when you’re wired to see the wins in your day—and when things get rough, you know how to pivot and turn the lights back on.
That’s the magic of being Yellow with a Blue soul: joy that bounces back and purpose that stays steady.
*Yellow, Blue, Red, and White are personality descriptions and are found in the Color Code® System.
Time to Practice
Saturday gave me a perfect opportunity to practice that in real time.
I woke up feeling like me again—clear, creative, and ready to deliver!
And it mattered.
I’m on a tight deadline with a client I care about deeply. We’ve shared big wins, built trust, and I genuinely want to see him succeed. As usual, I brought my full self to the table.
With zero tutorial and a spark of instinct, I created an AI video of my client using brand-new software. I’d never done this before—but something in me said, just go!
I opened the platform, I intuitively dropped in the transcript, matched it with visuals, refined the pacing, and let the rhythm flow!
And suddenly… I had a final video.
It wasn’t just polished—it was powerful!
Cha-ching!
I could see the finish line: confetti raining and champagne flowing! Mission accomplished! We would meet the deadline together—joyful, happy, proud!
Eagerly, I sent the video his way.
He loved it!
It really was pretty cool.

Then—eager to stay in motion—I shared another win.
While juggling errands that morning, I helped a prospect with her niche (during a Brazilian wax appointment. True story.) I was beaming. Proud. Ready to celebrate.
His reply?
“Does she want to book a strategy session with me?”
Pop. Balloon deflated.
Why was he not sharing the joy of this new moment of excellence in my journey? Did he not realize the significance of this moment?
I celebrate all of his wins—and even point out the ones he forgets.
So I did crumble.
For a bit.
I sat in my car and cried it out—only to realize I didn’t need to cry long to feel better. In fact, there were only initial tears. The downward spiral didn’t go very deep.
I Can Be My Own Cheerleader
Because I’ve learned how to cheer for myself. I can be my own cheerleader.
I keep a running list of wins. I protect my spark. I pivot fast—because I’ve done the deeper work that enables me to acknowledge what is and take only my portion with me forward.
He’s a Red. Quiet under pressure.
I’m a Yellow. I shine on purpose.
Yellow
Joyful.
Radiance squelched.
Acknowledge what is.
Shake it off.
Turn the lights back on.
Let’s go!!!!

I love this post, Stephanie. Sometimes we just have to be our own cheerleader and not count on others. And other times we can celebrate the mastermind – yay!
