Creative Thinking
All human beings are free to think anything they want.
At least theoretically.
Because today, in practice, the environment of our “developed” countries is flooded by an incredible cacophony of mediatic noise, which completely distorts the natural ability to think of every human being living in it.
Look, for years now, there has been literally no place in our cities we can go without seeing one or several television sets streaming their “information” or without bumping into human zombies walking on the street with their eyes glued to their cell phones.
Yes, we are all free to think what we want, but most of us have lost since long this ability because of the myriad of subliminal programs stored in our subconscious minds by the “River of Dreams”.
Enter the Mind
Our unique instrument of thought, our mind, has been – partially for some people and totally for most – cornered by a handful of smart people who have figured out how to drive our minds so as to make us think in a manner that fulfills the interests of a minority, even though these interests are detrimental to the greater good and overall societal wellbeing.
Collectively, we behave like a bunch of little dogs obeying a circus tamer; we do our best to understand what the circus tamer wants from us, then we do it, because we know that at the end, if we do well, we will receive our meal.
Ugh!
This is not new. Charles Haanel wrote nearly a century ago in his Master Key System (part 23-9):
The average person is entirely innocent of any deep thinking; […] this is readily seen when we understand the method which is used to form public opinion, and this docile attitude on the part of a large majority who seem perfectly willing to let a few persons do all their thinking for them is what enables a few men in a great many countries to usurp all the avenues of power and hold the millions in subjection. Creative thinking requires attention.
And here we are: “creative thinking requires attention.”
That’s what our lives are ALL about.
Paying Attention
In other words, if we, incarnated creators, want to stop creating collectively a world that a minority of smart conmen selfishly want for themselves and start creating the harmonious world we really want, we need to develop our ability to think creatively, otherwise said to think by ourselves.
According to Haanel’s statement, “creative thinking requires attention,” the very first logical thing to do would obviously be to recover control of our attention.
But what should be the subject of our attention?
That’s what each of us has to figure out!
It is different for each individual because each individual is different…Obvious, isn’t it?!
The Master Key Experience (MKE) training (for which I have been a Master Guide for many years now) offers plenty of subjects we could choose from; for example, the practice of Gratitude, Kindness, non-judgment, the 7 Laws of the Mind, and many other great practices aimed at improving our life and the life of others.
Of course, any other subject which has the power to trigger joy and harmony in our hearts and souls is a good one too.
The Power of Consciousness
As an example, one of my favorite subjects right now is the rise of consciousness.
I figured out some time ago that the surest way to exit the chaos we collectively live in right now is to raise ourselves out of it through an individual and collective raise of consciousness.
The nice thing is that the more I concentrate my attention on this idea, the more I find evidence that validates it, and the more I find scientific facts about the nature of consciousness and how it operates in the universe, in humanity, and in me.
Also, an interesting side effect of this approach is that it magnifies the importance of the earnest use of the MKE practices like the Mental Diet and many others in daily life.
Try it, you will be amazed!
Finally, it also helps to disregard any subject which emantes fear, guilt, anger or any other discordant feeling that would have for unique effect the lowering of my vibrations, i.e. my capacity to emanate harmonious vibes in myself and my surroundings…hence to maintain my consciousness at the highest possible level, as “elevating/lowering our vibrations” and “elevating/lowering our level of consciousness” are exact synonyms.
The bottom line is this:
Keeping the focus of our attention on the rise of our consciousness brings joy, peace, and harmony in our life and keeps all sources of discordant feelings such as fear, guilt or anger out of it.
Similarly, focusing our attention on joyful, peaceful and harmonious subjects in our daily lives helps us raise our consciousness.
You Are the Greatest Miracle
Can you see the commonalities and the virtuous cycles which exist between joyful & harmonious mindset, high vibrations, and a higher state of consciousness?
If yes, then you have all you need to continue to improve your life and the life of others by simply focusing on who you really are: a Child of the Source of all Goods who has been designed to walk the highest spheres of Life.
I promise to come back on this promising statement later; in the meantime, I hope you’ll continue to practice the MKE exercises earnestly and climb the ladder of consciousness peacefully toward the kingdom of Unity!
With love,
Luc
