In this blog, I am opening my heart in a way I’ve never done before. Writing has become my refuge, a means to navigate the complex journey of healing after losing someone so pivotal to my existence.

By sharing my story, I hope to offer solace and understanding to others navigating the treacherous waters of grief. It’s a deeply personal account that reveals the raw edges of my heart and the steps I’ve taken towards healing.

Through these words, I aim to connect with you, to share the pain of loss and the glimmer of hope that can be found in the principles of the Master Key Experience.

Our Love Story

Despite being born in Mexico and relocating to Texas, the bond with Rosita (my mom’s name) was a constant source of strength and comfort. strengthened by daily conversations that bridged the miles between us.

She visited us in Houston multiple times, and I made it a point to travel back to Mexico at least once a year.

On her 73rd birthday, I was there, celebrating with her, blissfully unaware of the heartache that loomed on the horizon. Just a few days later, the sudden onset of her illness marked the beginning of an abrupt and painful journey.

Being by her side in her final moments was a poignant blend of love, grief, and a silent farewell, a moment of profound significance that underscored the fleeting nature of life.

From Grief to Growth

As a Master Key Experience (MKE) participant and guide, I embrace the teaching and practical exercises of a classic personal development book by Charles F. Haanel, emphasizing the power of thought and the importance of harnessing our mental faculties to achieve personal growth and success.

While it might seem unrelated to the process of grieving at first glance, the principles within have been instrumental in my journey through loss.

The intertwining messages of The Master Key System and my mother’s enduring advice have become the cornerstone of my journey through grief and personal growth.

Rosita always said to me,

“Take care of yourself, love yourself, but overall, be happy.”

— Rosita

This simple yet profound guidance resonates deeply with the principles of The Master Key System, which teaches us the power of positive thought, self-love, and the pursuit of happiness as a form of personal fulfillment and success.

Steps for Success on the Grief Journey

By embracing Rosita’s wisdom alongside the teachings of the MKE, I’ve found a powerful framework for healing and personal development. It’s a reminder that even in the face of profound loss, we can nurture our well-being, love ourselves fiercely, and seek happiness in our lives.

This combination of my mother’s message and the Master Key principles has not only facilitated my healing process but has also empowered me to aim higher and make a more significant impact on others.

As I continue to navigate my journey, I am committed to using these insights to inspire and uplift those around me.

By sharing my story and the lessons I’ve learned, I hope to encourage others to embrace their pain, find strength in their vulnerabilities, and pursue happiness with unwavering determination.

In doing so, we honor the legacy of those we’ve lost, carrying forward their wisdom and love as we strive to leave a lasting, positive impact on the world.

If you’re navigating the challenging journey of grief, remember, you’re not alone. By opening up and sharing our stories, we create a community of support and understanding that can offer both strength and comfort.

To further aid in your healing process, consider reaching out to friends or siblings to reminisce about joyful moments, take some time to rest, and perhaps alter some of your daily routines to bring new perspectives into your life.

Additionally, I highly recommend registering for the next season of the Master Key Experience (MKE) in September. It operates on a pay-it-forward scholarship, making it accessible for those ready to embark on a transformative journey.

This could be a valuable step in finding deeper healing and expanding your ability to impact others positively.

Hope to see you there!

Thank you, Susana, for checking out our website, and Maria’s post. For others, here’s a loose English translation:

I love being part of your life and the example you have given me, I thank you for giving me the opportunity to be part of the master key last year, because our mother’s parting has definitely been more bearable thanks to that, now I feel calmer because of her absence but with the same love for her that I have to make her words count, I promised her to “take care of me, love me and above all be happy” on her deathbed and the teachings that you have given me help to remember that in at all times and keep my mind positive in the face of adversity!!! I love you very much, I know that she, like me, is proud of you from heaven!!!
