Grace and Progress

Where’s the Progress?

If you are anything like me, you can still give yourself grief over not being where you want to be yet, not experiencing the progress you believe possible. I have been learning to give myself a lot of grace this past year. That in itself is an entirely new gift.

I used to measure my value by what the outside world saw. The house, the car, the relationship etc. I wanted to feel like I had it all together, while in truth, I was a mess inside.

Over the past few years I have really dug deep in the transformation department of my life. Transformation is messy. Just ask the caterpillar who turned into goo within the chrysalis before emerging as a beautiful butterfly.

Using the tools and habits I have learned in the Master Key Experience, my life took a 180 degree shift, if not more. With that kind of sudden change, comes a lot of growth in every aspect imagined. Inner growth doesn’t always look like progress.

Grace and Progress come together

This is where the grace thing comes in. I am all about the progress thing, and when I can’t see it tangibly, I can be impatient.

Subby is still cocreating with the Infinite mind, God. She just needed me to grow into the woman that can accomplish the dream I have,

So for now, the best thing I can do is the next task, the next right thing, the next habit. It is all coming together perfectly. I will continue to be present, patient, and give myself the grace and time needed to “become”.

My wings are almost ready.

  • Change and progress can take time for us to actually see even though it happens best with those nearly invisible little acts of growth we put into play everyday. Its not something that that we can “cram” for, rather the day-by-day disciplines that can seem boring and tedious, but if we hang in there for future joy, a beautiful and blessed life is the result. Thanks for this honest view of your journey, Kelley!

  • Great read Kelley – I wise friend once told me just hang on and do the next right thing – your blog reminded me of that so Mahalo. The work you have been shows so congrats on taking care of you!
