Unique Growth Mastermind
The Master Key Experience (MKE) is a Growth Mastermind. In the MKE we are introduced to the concept of Sonder.
The Sonder Principle
Sonder is the profound realization that every passerby has a life as vivid and complex as your own, filled with their own unique ambitions, worries, routines, and experiences.
It’s a feeling that emphasizes the vast, interwoven nature of human lives, rather than viewing oneself as the central figure in the world’s narrative.
Sonder expands our mind, our horizons, our relationships and our lives.
It is what life is all about, it is why we relate to the hero in a movie or in a novel.
It wakes up a yearning in us to awaken to the fact that we are alive as are all others around us and we can enrich each other´s life just by being authentic and being present, seeing and listening to others.
More on Sonder here.
Nature’s Greatest Miracle
We are not lonely water droplets, we are part of an ocean. We are all unique, we are nature´s greatest miracle as Og Mandino says in his book: The Greatest Salesman in the World, in scroll 4.
I am not on this earth by chance. I am here for a purpose and that purpose is to grow into a mountain, not to shrink to a grain of sand. Henceforth I will apply all my efforts to become the highest mountain of all and I will strain my potential until it cries for mercy. Og Mandino, The Greatest Salesman in the World
And we are meant to be more, to grow to our unlimited potential if we chose to do so. Imagine a world were everyone chose to be his best version, what would happen? Pause for a few moments, close your eyes, breathe, imagine it.
It is only a question of deciding, you can chose yes or no. What do you chose? I chose to grow, do you do that too? Let´s go!!! There is no time to waste!!! It is so simple to do, do it now, do it now, do it now. It is challenging yet it is immensely rewarding.
We can be unique and be part of a Growth Mastermind. That’s amazing!
Kindness is a Growth Mastermind
Some years ago, when I was working as a physiotherapist, a patient thanked me for seeing her. It happened several times with several people. I must admit I was quite surprised.

I thought it was the most natural thing in the world to see people, to care, but then there is Sonder, everyone is unique. Another time I was surprised by another patient from some Asian culture that asked me to not look her in the eyes.
Everyone is different. A few patients complained about a coworker smiling to much, the majority were very appreciative of the coworker’s smiles.
In a survey elderly people said one of the biggest things they missed in their lives was being heard, seen.
In these times of turmoil and division we need to respect each other’s points of view, be curious and focus on our common ground and what we want to experience instead of what separates us.
A Growth Mastermind
As we are told in the Master Key Experience, ‘no one makes it without a mastermind.’
We are social beings and we need to help each other to thrive and accomplish our goals. We have only one viewpoint. With the viewpoint from others we may be better able to see the forest from the trees, to gain clear perspective.
Come, join us for the next Master Key Experience, do it now, do it now, do it now! If something in your heart resonates with this mission of co-creating a world where everyone chooses his best version, we can do it together, some of us are doing it right now.

Thank you, Benjamin, for your thoughtful blog post. I love the concept of Sonder! We are unique and need to make the most of it, truly. Being part of the Master Key Experience Mastermind encourages that – Yay!
Me, too, Arlene. I’d not heard it called that before. Love its having a name.
Me too. When I was on the Camino in Spain I met so many people who shared their stories. It enriched my life!
This complexity of a world filled with people whose lives are all filled with intricate details seems to render making judgements about other people a trivial pursuit. Meaningless. Pointless.
Thank you for drawing attention to this wonder of life.
Well said, Janet. “Judge not” is even biblical!
I agree with you!
Benjamin, I so enjoyed learning about the term “Sonder” to describe what I’ve believed and practiced. 🙂 I like to think of each person I meet as a treasure chest to be valued, enjoyed with wonder, and explored.
Shirley, love that you think of each person you meet as a treasure chest to be valued, enjoyed with wonder, and explored”.
This blog is one of those rare writings where you are transported into deep contemplation about humanity and our behaviours.
A direct account of your experiences and feed-back in real life gives great clarity and enjoyment to us the reader, as we feel your message.
Thanks Benjamin.
Benjamin, thank you for this article. I’ve never heard the term “Sonder” before, but I totally agree with the concept, and I, too, am glad to be a part of the MKE!
Thank you for the insight into sonder!
And we are nature’s greatest miracle.
Thank you… enjoyed reading your blog!
