Will This Really Work? Is it True that Habits are the Key? My MKE Story

Asking questions like whether are not habits are the key to my bright future, and doing the Master Key work, you will never guess what happened to me!

You read, sit and link colors and shapes.  But occasionally the thought crosses your mind – “Will this really work?  Will it work for me?” 

I started the Master Key Experience in 2017.  Everyone begins with writing their Definite Major Purpose (DMP) and choosing two Personal Pivotal Needs (PPNs).  My PPNs have always been Liberty and Recognition for Creative Expression.

We focus on the activities taught in this class to create good habits.  Habits that will move our lives in the direction that we have chosen.  

Habits are the Key to a Better Life

The daily habits, the readings and the sit, at first were a struggle.  

My old blueprint, or my old mental programming, fought hard against these changes.  But now, with the teachings of the Master Key Experience, I am in charge.  My day begins with reading and sitting.  It has become effortless and a new habit has been born.  I love it. 

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act, but a habit.

My Book Manifests

How is it that habits are the key to manifesting what we want? As taught in the class, we start with small things that we can control.  We write on our index cards, read them several times a day and do the action we have written.  Write, read, do.  That has become the rhythm of my morning and a key habit I’ve adopted.

Hannel states in Master Key System 4:12:

…Modern psychology tells us that when we start something and do not complete it, or make a resolution and do not keep it, we are forming the habit of failure; absolute, ignominious failure.  If you do not intend to do a thing do not start; if you do start, see it through even if the heavens fall; if you make up your mind to do something, do it; let nothing, no one, interfere; the “I” in you has determined, the thing is settled, the die is cast, there is no longer any argument.

Little by little I noticed things starting to change for me.  I created a website, wrote an E-book, created on-line courses.  Then this, look at the author — it’s me!

A book was not in my original DMP, but, nevertheless, the opportunity presented itself and I said “Yes”!  It was more than I would have ever dreamed that I could achieve.  Not only did I participate, but, we hit Amazon’s Hot New Releases.

Og Mandino writes, “In truth, the only difference between those who have failed and those who have succeeded lies in the difference of their habits.  Good habits are the key to all success.  Bad habits are the unlocked door to failure.  Thus, the first law I obey, which preceedeth all others is – I form good habits and become their slave.”

It is so easy to decide in the same way you are customized to without understanding that you are not only forming your habits but also strengthen them each time. To change your life you need to change your habits and to go all in for those new habits. I had the same experience as you and I really needed help to change my habits because I am yellow and I normally resist habits. You can say that my habit is to not having habits (LOL), but that is not so effective when you want to create a new life. Lucky me I had the MKE and a guide that didn’t give up on me. My life is completely changed now.
