How can we live fully every day, when we are experiencing the same emotions everyday and our lives are based on history, memories of events, places, people, time and feeling?
STOP the Hamster Wheel and Live Fully Every Day
I am jumping off!
Let’s interrupt the thought process that creates this hamster wheel. I am now practicing conscious, creative choices. No longer stumbling through the day being victim to other peoples agendas or my own subby. I am waking up and reaching for my Scroll, my DMP, the Master Key for this week and actively changing my reality. No more hamsters wheels before or after breakfast, lunch and dinner!!!
I have a visual image of 40,000,000,000 connections in my brain and then there’s peptides, my chemical emotions, being released into my blood stream and attaching to my cells and creating a chemical interaction, which in turn changes my behavior.
I am now aware and mindful of this process, therefore now I am changing it. I watch for my triggers, thank goodness I am aware of many of them and now interrupt those old thought processes.
Beating the Peptides
Ha, you peptides, I’m onto you. No longer a victim, no longer tied to a particular identity I created in childhood. Freedom and liberation is mine to claim as I live fully every day.
My biggest weakness was chocolate biscuits. I am now eating a carrot every time I think of a chocolate biscuit. It’s working and I feel great! It is so empowering. Beating that chemical addiction I was experiencing, and all it took was the understanding of how my mind created my human drama and recognizing the way the mind works. No more hamsters, hopefully no rabbits either?!
There’s only Consciousness.
If my consciousness within Consciousness creates my own individual reality and when I choose to focus on a new reality, I am making it so, then when I create that new reality and there is no separation between ‘I’ and everyone else’s ‘I’, ‘I’ am creating the possibility for all ‘I’s’ to change to live fully every day … Ain’t that the case?
The Law of Giving and Receiving
I love this, I used to read a book to my son 25 years ago called Giving and Receiving. We have this as our contemplation and ultimately practice:
- Where ever I go I bring a gift. I may bring a compliment, prayer, trinket, flower… but I promise I will give something to every person I encounter.
- I promise to a grateful receiver of the gifts that surround me, pausing often and noticing nature, kindnesses, smiles and compliments; to which I gladly receive with a ‘thank you.’
- I promise to give hope for joy, affluence, kindness and love, consciously with every encounter, regardless of the brevity.
- I promise to give, without expectation of reciprocity, to the channels I enrich because I know I am in the dynamic flow of giving and receiving.
I loved this post Peaches! Yes, let’s jump off the hamster wheel.
Yep I’m with you ladies!
With you all the way Deb!

Peaches, this is great! I love having 40,000,000,000 helpers! Even with all those connections, having a community of like minded journeymen (persons) is so impacitng. It eleminates the fear of the world off the hampster wheel. So happy to have you in my world.
OHMYGOSH I adore this blog mahalo Peaches this makes me so so happy!
I really enjoyed your blog post Peaches! You captured the meaning of giving without the expectation of reciprocity in your words and your actions.
Peaches, thanks for sharing how you jumped off the “Hamster Wheel”. I also liked your attitude on your old peptides. No longer are you a victim, no longer are you tied to a particular identity that you created in childhood. Freedom and liberation are yours to claim. Congratulations on your new consciousness. Lastly, the Law of giving and receiving is a great reminder of the importance of applying these gems to your everyday life. Who wrote the book of “The Law of Giving & Receiving ” that you use to read to your son 25 years ago? Great blog-I enjoyed it.
Great blog Peaches! I enjoyed it so much! I could really relate to that cravings of chocolate biscuits. I have had it too, and I also changed that habit by eating carrots six years ago. And I like the Law of Giving and Receiving. I live by that law and it is truly a great push in your life and your personal growth.
Love this post Peaches. Amazing insights. Yes, permanently off that hamster wheel. Thanks for the great share.
Carrots over chocolate is a giant victory! Congratulations! It is a wondrous thing that we can change our habits by understanding how the mind works!
This is a statement of pure truth: “Freedom and liberation is mine to claim” … one I’ve been witnessing you take possession of in your life, Peaches. “There’s only consciousness” – Thank you for sharing your wisdom in this wonderful post.
Great Post Peaches, I love the Law of giving and receiving. I promise to give the hope for joy consciously with every encounter and be a grateful receiver by saying Thank You.
You have such a wonderful grasp of the Law of Substitution as well as the Law of Giving and Receiving. Thank you for sharing them so creatively!
I just loved hearing your read this on CLUBHOUSE, Peaches! Thanks for the tip about using the Law of Substitution to eat a carrot whenever you would in the past have eaten a chocolate biscuit! Your insights were so helpful today.
That is a good one, Shirley, I agree!
