My Master Key Journey — Take a Leap: Moments I Won’t Forget

minutes remaining

The journey has begun. It’s week 3 and the Master Key Experience (MKE) class is naming two Personal Pivotal Needs (PPNs): Liberty, Recognition for Creative Expression, Legacy, True Health, Helping Others, Spiritual Growth, Autonomy

My husband is taking the class this year and it feels new for me once again! I am reminded again that MKE is simple, but not easy. The road to one’s Definite Major Purpose (DMP) is not always long, but it is work: real, true mental labor.

PPN Journey

My journey with choosing PPNs has not been a straight line path.

I thought my first year in 2017 that my PPNs were Legacy and True Health, but I see now that Liberty and Helping Others drive me most (I did have a brief stop at Liberty and True Health in there too).

I have always thought the PPNs are interesting since we choose two, but if in fact we change PPNs down the road, we can still manifest visions, however perhaps not as quickly. And in the end, all 7 of them come into being, so relax! (I say to my Red/Blue self!).

The honesty and self-reflection is what’s most important about the PPNs as they then tie to one’s DMP so directly. Even though I have changed PPNs, working through them has helped me to claim my goals.

From Sea Change to Wow! It’s Better than I Could Imagine

When we moved 4 years ago into our dream home and property, I didn’t realize it would be so peaceful. We knew we wanted acres and buildings and space, and we got that, but the quiet surprised me.

Small, beautiful coincidences kept happening to confirm my decisions, but I’ll never forget one.

I was heading to the Newark Airport for a work trip. I had been listening to the previous week’s webcast Q&A. I was getting closer to the long-term parking and thought I’d take a break and catch a song from WFUV, our favorite radio station from when we lived in Queens.

And bam! A song was on which I had never heard before! It was Beck’s ”Wow” from 2016, and also happens to be a favorite musician of Sam, our life-long friend who passed away suddenly on September 30, 2019.

We shared love of Beck. I immediately remembered back to 2003 when Sam, his wife, my husband and I met up in Amsterdam after our honeymoon trips (ours was a year after getting married, theirs was weeks after their ceremony in Ohio) and we played Beck’s album ”Sea Change” (which had come out in 2002) at the house we rented.

I could not believe my ears listening on the Newark shuttle bus: Beck even using the the “Giddy Up” in the song! I will always remember this moment and the validation of everything it provided.

Solar Plexus, Our Sun

Haanel’s words in week 3 feature the solar plexus as the seat of the subconscious and our internal sun/energy source.

The Solar Plexus has been likened to the sun of the body, because it is a central point of distribution for the energy which the body is constantly generating. This energy is a very real energy, and this sun is a very real sun, and the energy is being distributed by very real nerves to all parts of the body, and is thrown off in an atmosphere which envelopes the body.

Charles Haanel

Thinking of this heat/fire, I was hungry for it.

In 2017, I remember another key moment of confirmation. It was 3 weeks after I first started MKE, and we had put our NYC apartment on the market. Recognizing that I wanted space upstate which required sacrificing our apartment was empowering.

The first weekend of the apartment open house, we had 7 offers at or above asking price.

The NYC market was wild, but I entirely knew that the work in MKE was accelerating this type of outcome in my life now, in the very short term, and setting the stage for the long term success I sought!

Now that I See the Gold

Forward is the only way I can go.

Be of service to the world. How best can we each do that?

As the intrepid explorer, always curious: if we start the day with this framework, it feels like the warm sun and limitless potential.

  • Great blog Jennifer! I liked very much the reminder of Haanel: The Solar Plexus has been likened to the sun of the body, because it is a central point of distribution for the energy which the body is constantly generating. When I am truly focused and present can I actually feel that vibrating energy. We are so much powerful than we have learned to be.

  • When we become aligned with our true self as the MKE helps us to achieve, we also become in line with the Universe and its messages and everything accelerates in our life towards the right goals…exactly as you described it here, congratulations and thank you for your inspiring post Jennifer!
