Mother/Father God imagined me! An emotionally-felt A-HA!

One of the delights of the #MasterKeyExperience (MKE) is that I always catch something new when reviewing the Charles Haanel lessons I’ve read through and “taken to a sit” for a week at a time multiple times.

His first 24 lessons tuck nicely into the 24 weeks of the MKE program, so they’re easy to go back to once or even twice a year.

Please note that my preference over decades is to call the Divine “Mother/Father God”. I respect that YOU might call the Divine by another name.

As I polled my tribe I found out that these are some of the names various ones use: God, Creator, Creator God, Yahweh, the Divine, Higher Power, Universe, the Force, Source, the Omnipotent, the Omniscient, the Omnipresent, and YeHoVah.

I’m guessing we have not covered all of them — perhaps not the one you use. Please feel free to substitute your name wherever I have Mother/Father God.

On my 6th time through Lesson 20 this summer with my MasterMind tribe, I had a delightful gut awareness: I was imagined uniquely and specifically.

Mother/Father God EXACTLY imagined Shirley in profound detail! And Mother/Father God imagined you, too!

Isn’t that amazing and deeply personal and enormously exciting?

Let that soak in. In the Imaginative Mind of Mother/Father God, you and I were specifically imagined with multiple specific characteristic — each little thing that makes us us — like body type, eye

color, hair texture, timbre of voice, talents built in, skills we’ll develop, shadow self challenges, our birth family, our formative communities, our learning experiences, and our basic core motive.

Everything. And then we each came to be. How intimate.

So if and when I’m afraid, Mother/Father God knows what that is exactly for me and is with me in it — and, allowing for my free will, has imagined every instance on my timeline flow and even the moment of my death!

I will never be alone. Neither will you. I have never felt that so deeply and seen it so clearly.

In the intro to Lesson 20, Haanel writes about Mother/Father God’s Omnipresence. Omnipresence has even more deeply personal impact now:

“Theologians have told us that God is Love, and that God is Omnipresent. If this be true, there is no place where God is not.”

No place. NO PLACE WHERE GOD IS NOT IN EACH OF US. I hope you’re letting that, too, soak in to the marrow of your being.

I could hardly wait to share with the others this huge, emotionally-felt a-ha, because we’d already highlighted one of our favorite quotes from Alfred Lord Tennyson’s poem, “The Higher Pantheism”:

“Speak to Him, thou, for He hears, and Spirit with Spirit can meet-
Closer is He than breathing, and nearer than hands and feet.

Next, Lesson 20 clearly outlines how to make the most of this realization of God’s intimate Omnipresence and our carrying that Presence as an extension, a channel, into our world. Haanel writes:

“The secret of power is a perfect understanding of the principles, forces, methods and combinations of Mind, and a perfect understanding of our relationship to the Universal Mind. It is well to remember that this principle is unchangeable; if this were not so, it would not be reliable; all principles are changeless.”

So there are principles, forces, methods, and combinations for how Mind works. We understand we are present to Universal Mind as Universal Mind is present with each of us. Haanel continues:

“This stability is your opportunity; you are its active attribute, the channel for its activity; the Universal can act only through the individual.”

So Mother/Father God apparently thought of something to accomplish and chose to accomplish that by imagining me to do it! And you!

So we are each an active attribute, a channel. How empowering to know to our core that Mother/Father God imagined a “to do” and imagined you or me to do it!

Haanel expands this more. Notice the words “fires the imagination”, “inspiration”, “vitality”, “power”, “fearlessly”, “masterfully”:

“When you begin to perceive that the essence of the Universal is within yourself — is you — you begin to do things; you begin to feel your power; it is the fuel which fires the imagination; which lights the torch of inspiration; which gives vitality to thought; which enables you to connect with all the invisible forces of the Universe. It is this power which will enable you to plan fearlessly, to execute masterfully.”

My Essence feels power, my Essence is imagination fire, my Essence lights inspiration, my Essence vitalizes thought, my Essence connects to invisible forces, my Essence plans fearlessly, my Essence executes masterfully. And so does yours, my friend explains on factor so well.

And how do we get to that way of being? Haanel shows how Mother/Father God showed the way of using Imagination by first imagining each of us:

“But perception will come only in the Silence; this seems to be the condition required for all great purposes. You are a visualizing entity. Imagination is your workshop. It is here that your ideal is to be visualized.”

So my Essence is a visualizing Entity, imagination is my Essence’s workshop, my Essence visualizes “ideal”.

Haanel is talking about all this from OUR perspective. But since he outlines THE PROCESS FOR HOW IT ALL WORKS, we know it works this way for Mother/Father God, too, right?

So the All Powerful, All Knowing, All Present BEING perceives essence, feels power, fires imagination, lights up inspiration, vitalizes thought, connects with all the invisible forces, plans, executes, and visualizes the ideal… and imagined me and you being and doing all that, too!

Haanel teaches us this:

“As a perfect understanding of the nature of this power is a primary condition for its manifestation, visualize the entire method over and over again, so that you may use it whenever occasion requires. The infinity of wisdom is to follow the method whereby we may have the inspiration of the omnipotent Universal Mind on demand at any time.”

Haanel gives further help, reminding us that all this doesn’t just happen without effort:

“Thought is creative vibration and the quality of the conditions created will depend upon the quality of our thought, because we cannot express powers which we do not possess. We must “be” before we can “do” and we can “do” only to the extent to which we “are,” and so what we do will necessarily coincide with what we “are” and what we are depends upon what we ‘think.’”

So clearly who I am must BE in and of Mother/Father God as I was imagined… what I do must BE in Mother/Father God to imagine my doing what I was designed to do.

Our Guides in MKE have helped each of us articulate that desire for what we each want, which comes out of what we each were Imagined to do. We call it our DMP, our Definite Major Purpose. Haanel says it this way and gives a caution:

“Every time you think, you start a train of causation which will create a condition in strict accordance with the quality of the thought which originated it. Thought which is in harmony with the Universal Mind will result in corresponding conditions. Thought which is destructive or discordant will produce corresponding results. You may use thought constructively or destructively, but the immutable law will not allow you to plant a thought of one kind and reap the fruit of another. You are free to use this marvelous creative power as you will, but you must take the consequences.”

But I now have a new realization that Mother/Father God truly Imagined me, so I need not worry about this.

Since immutable law will not allow a thought of one kind reap the fruit of another, who I am and what I do is truly all Mother/Father God’s Imagining (with my free will thrown in) in our Presence with each other.

If I realize and embrace Mother/Father God’s Imaginative vision of me, all will be as imagined! Just wow.
