Searching for the Dream Life
We’re all searching for something in life.
For me, it’s the dream life. Not just a life that looks good on paper, but one that feels right. A life filled with purpose, joy, freedom, and alignment. There are so many things I want to welcome into my life — and just as many I’d like to let go of.
These good things I have welcomed into my life are the Master Key Experience. My guide has been with me the whole six months. She has encouraged me and nudged me to discover my deepest desires without influencing me.
I have worked to incorporate so many skills that the Master Key Experience has taught me. I have written down my definite major purpose for my life. I’ve built a written plan of action.
I read and sit (meditate) every day. I carry my index cards of accomplishments and gratitudes and flash them every day.
I think a lot of us feel this way. Deep down, we know we’re meant for more. Yet somehow, life gets in the way. Days blur into routines.
We fill our time with obligations, distractions, and noise. We lose sight of what we really want because we’re too busy keeping up with what we think we’re supposed to want.
Sometimes, it feels like life is just happening to us.
But what if we paused for a moment? What if we really took a step back to ask: How did I get here? Every decision, every yes and no, every fork in the road — it all led to this version of life.
That realization can be overwhelming, but it can also be empowering. Because if we built this life through our choices, maybe we can build a better one the same way.
What if creating your dream life could be like planning a beautiful event? Think about it: when you plan a wedding or a party, you don’t just let it happen.
You choose the vibe, the guests, the menu, the music, the setting. You curate it all with love and intention. Why shouldn’t your life be the same?
What if we gave ourselves permission to design life that way — thoughtfully, creatively, and on our own terms?
What would that dream life look like for you?

Karen, I absolutely loved reading this!
Yes, why not design our own lives! Designed by us, for us!
The Master Key Experience guides us on a journey to doing just that!
I love that concept/word DESIGN, Drew. Perfect.
Amen!
Double amen with a cherry on top!
Thank you for your blog Karen, yes, we have the power to choose although we have been conditioned to not be aware of it, we all are meant for so much much more
Ah, that conditioning. How great to break free of it, Benjamin. Thanks for the reminder.
So true, Benjamin.
Karen, I just love the doable image you wrote for us. Creating our dream life could be like “when you plan a wedding or a party, you don’t just let it happen. You choose the vibe, the guests, the menu, the music, the setting. You curate it all with love and intention”. Thanks for the reminder that we do that anyway, day-by-day, the way we’re creating not-our-dream-life now that looks for most of us like anything but a wedding celebration! How helpful…
Yes! I agree the wedding was a terrific, relatable illustration.
Hard to believe its been 50 years since I was married. But yeah, I think there was some planning involved. LOL
The biggest takeaway here sparkles with possibility: your life doesn’t have to be accidental. Imagine approaching it like your most joy-filled party — curating each detail with care, clarity, and delight. The Master Key Experience gives you the tools to do exactly that. Daily habits enable one to create their version of a ‘dream life’ by saying yes to what lights you up and releasing what dims you. The best part? Applying what’s taught in the Master Key Experience actually brings the results! Woot! Woot!
Wonderful! That is so fitting to compare designing your dream life to planning an event. Don’t let life happen to you! I love it:)
I love this Karen!! It’s so true. How much planning goes into a wedding, or building a house, or redoing the garden…but what about our life and our future?? Should we not spend just as much time on that as well, if ot more??
Life does tend to flash by, doesn’t it, Karen? Wouldn’t it be wonderful if #MKE was offered as a college course, or even high school? If life is but a dream, let’s start living it as soon as possible!
