Vacation Mode
What a spectacular time we’ve been having on our family cruise vacation. Last year we decided to do a Caribbean and Bahamas cruise over Christmas and New Year’s that we booked 6 months earlier.
Then about 60 days before we left, we decided to added 4 additional days making this our first back-to-back-back cruise vacation, an extended vacation mode.
Three cruises on the same ship has been pretty cool so far. It’s been an opportunity to create spectacular memories with the fabulous Rebecca and our amazing girls while having lots of fun experiences at some cool destinations.
So grateful to have the opportunity to do something crazy like this.
Gratitude At Sea
Being at sea in vacation mode and having the blessing of limited cellular service (we don’t purchase the onboard Wi-Fi) has meant catch up on watching the weekly Master Key Experience (MKE) webinar.
And one of the topics was gratitude, so timely with the feelings of gratitude as the calendar pages turn into the second decade of the 21st Century!
So I’m super excited to be starting a new task of writing down three things daily that I’m grateful for on those index cards. It has been difficult to stay totally on task with all the daily readings while in vacation mode with so many activities, however the sits have been spectacular.
Is there a better way to mentally focus on your definite major purpose than in a lounge chair while enjoying the peace and tranquility of the ocean breezes? What better way to describe vacation mode?
Charles Haanel in Part 13 of the Master Key System talks about how everything we acquire comes via the Law of Attraction and that:
A happy thought cannot exist in an unhappy consciousness; therefore the consciousness must change, and, as the consciousness changes, all conditions necessary to meet the changed consciousness must gradually change, in order to meet the requirements of the new situation.
Charles Haanel, The Master Key System
He also reminds us that:
The creative power of thought will explain every possible condition or experience, whether physical, mental or spiritual.

Opportunity of a Lifetime
Having the opportunity to go on a three cruises back-to-back-back over the holidays was something I would not have thought possible even a year ago and it’s currently a reality as we get ready to embark on the last leg this afternoon, while I’m in vacation mode.
The dots continue to connect … join the MKE celebration as the newest class starts soon!
How wonderful, Brad! I love that you can connect the dots with MKE and cruising!
Thanks, Brad, for sharing your blog! I’ve never done a back-to-back cruise; but my Hubby and I love to cruise at least once/year and have done 3 one special year. So much to be thankful for! It seems miraculous how those dots connect! We come to know if it as effortless.
