Where are you putting your faith?

minutes remaining

We are accustomed to examining the mechanism of the implements which we use for tilling the soil, and we try to get an understanding of the mechanism of the automobile which we drive, but most of us are content to remain in absolute ignorance of the greatest piece of mechanism which has ever come into existence, the brain of man.

Charles Haanel, The Master Key System, 6.7

Faith Matters

In the first place, there is a great mental world in which we live and move and have our being; this world is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent; it will respond to our desire in direct ration to our purpose and faith; the purpose must be in accordance with the law of being, that is, it must be creative or constructive; our faith must be strong enough to generate a current of sufficient strength to bring our purpose into manifestation. “As thy faith is, so be it unto thee,” bears the stamp of scientific test.

Charles Haanel, The Master Key System, 6.9

How often do we try to put two items beside each other and compare them to each other, or to something else that is of similar value or product?

Reading up and researching our purchase and investment to make sure that we are not wasting our time or money…but as Charles Haanel points out in the Master Key System, we wish to remain in complete ignorance and ignore all thought of understanding our brain. We don’t put any time or energy into growing or calming the brain. Nor do we put time into understanding how this massive storehouse of life works, or what it is capable of.

  • It is simply used for unimportant tasks such as what do I want for dinner?
  • Should I wear white or red?
  • Do I want to go to this grocery store or that one?

Using our Brain

But we have learned that the Brain is SO important! This is where everything starts, where the magic really begins. But how can you create magic if you cannot understand what you are working with? We were not handed a book when we were old enough and told that this would provide us all the answers to the questions that come along the way; no we have to learn, study and grow to discover the hows, what, and whys of life. We need to spend time in the quiet of nature and the calm stillness of peace.

Though having an understanding of the POWER of the Brain really is just scratching the surface of it. “As thy faith is, so be it unto thee.” It is not sufficient that we can comprehend what the brain is capable of, we actually need to BELIEVE IT! We need to know the power, and understand that it is just as powerful in myself as it is in you.

We also need to have FAITH and BELIEVE that this is going to happen and that there is no other option, without a SHADOW of doubt. There cannot be two paths. We need to find our Dharma, our passion, and burning desire, and really put everything into that. We cannot be trying to keep two boats afloat at the same time, for fear that we will lose both. We need to burn the ships behind us, leaving no option but to go straight ahead on to victory.

“The man who looks within instead of without cannot fail to make use of the mighty forces which will eventually determine his course in life and so bring him into vibration with all that is best, strongest, and most desirable.”

Charles Haanel, The Master Key System, 6.18

The World Within

The man who looks within…this is not the person who is getting someone else’s support or someone else’s help. This is not the person who is sitting there wondering why me or woah is me. This also is not the one sitting watching for that perfect opportunity. This is the one who looks inside of himself saying this is what I want to do, this is how I am going to do it, and with the faith in myself and my plan, nothing shall dismay me. We have all the power we need, and we are learning how to use it.

Always remember that whether you believe you can or you believe that you cannot; BOTH are true, and both have the same amount of power and believe. Either you believe that you can do, or you believe just as strongly that you cannot…But either way? You are right.
