Did you know that your magnificent mind is the most wonderful machine ever created? A machine that you can use to create anything you desire… all success, all wealth, all health.
The human nervous system is compared to an electric circuit. Through this system, every impulse and desire is carried throughout your body. The spinal cord is the pathway that carries these messages to and from the brain.
Every thought sets the brain cells into action and if the thoughts are refined and concentrated, the body expresses it perfectly. The mind can influence any part of the body eliminating undesirable effects.
There is a mental field in which we live, move and just are. It responds to our desires in direct ratio to our faith and purpose. Thought is the process in which we absorb the power and we hold this in our inner consciousness until it becomes part of our ordinary consciousness.
Mind in Harmony
In order for us to receive this information, we must possess harmony and poise within. Our purpose must be creative or constructive. We cannot infringe on the rights of others.
To accomplish our goals (or to achieve success) we must live with harmonious relationships and live by the motto “the greatest good to the greatest number.” We must have a positive outlook so that we generate enough power to bring our purpose into manifestation.
“By bringing about a change in our outlook towards things and events, all phenomena can become sources of happiness.”
The Dalai Lama
When you learn to look within instead of without (your current physical world) and make use of this machine and its power, you will manifest the most desirable, strongest and best life available.
The brain is ever evolving and developing whenever necessity arises. Development occurs over time and builds your future out of your todays.
Attention is Key to Develop Your Mind
The most important factor in developing your mental capacity is the ability to focus your attention.
To explain the power of attention it is easiest if we look at a magnifying glass. If we move a magnifying glass over a piece of paper the sun’s rays do not have much power but, if we hold it perfectly still and focus the rays on one spot the effect it has on the paper immediately becomes visible.
The same is true with the power of thought. If you are constantly changing your thoughts and focus, the result will be scattered.
However, focus your attention on any single purpose for any length of time and everything and anything is possible.
Thoughts First, then Action, Effect follows
When you are in harmony with Universal Mind and you learn the basic methods and principles of thinking, you will change conditions and multiply your results. Your growth follows knowledge, your action follows inspiration and then opportunity follows.
It is always the spiritual first because the individual is a channel for the Universal. Remember your possibilities are endless.
Through this attention, you can overcome all obstacles and to gain this power you definitely need to practice.
Like everything in life, practice makes perfect. We can improve our ability to utilize our mind thru practice.
There are 5Ps for you to remember and they are- Perfect Practice Prevents Poor Performance or you may prefer Persistent Practice Produces Perfect Presentations (to your mind).
John Wooden
“You’ll find most of it is practice, the rest of it is work.”
When you put in the practice you will be amazed at the results.

Suzanne, thanks for this empowering reminder. I especially appreciated this wording: “If you are constantly changing your thoughts and focus, the result will be scattered. However, focus your attention on any single purpose for any length of time and everything and anything is possible.”
